The title of this post certainly describes our current situation in more than one way. The lemon tree outside of our little house is bursting with ripe fruit. I picked about 20 this past weekend and set to work making treats. I made lemonade, and lemon poppyseed bread so far. Later this week I am planning to make some lemon curd … and probably some more lemonade. I recently tried using a homemade simple syrup to sweeten my lemonade rather than stirring in raw sugar and it is certainly worth the extra effort!
This is the first time we have had a fruit tree to ourselves and I love it!
It’s fun to hear what you are doing and living vicariously through your adventures!! That lemon tree is beautiful!!!! Stay safe!
Thank you! Hope you are doing well 🙂
Wow! I love the pictures. I think the aloe brevifolia is my favorite. So well done.
Thank you!
Nice photos!! The Kiwi is probably my favorite. Great job with subject isolation!
Thanks! I’ve been really trying to work on my photography the last two weeks, and I plan to pick another subject arount the neighborhood this weekend.
I’m so jealous you have a lemon tree! They look beautiful and I’m sure all the things you made with them were delicious!
I also enjoyed seeing your photography of succulents. The Aeonium Kiwi is beautiful and a favorite for sure.
Nice to hear from you. Be safe. 🙂
Thank you! Hope you are staying safe and healthy!
The Aeonium Kiwi is my vote! Have fun in the sun! Love you two!
