That being said, we went on a big trip that should be blogged! We went to silverthorne CO, and did some snowsports on Copper mountain. Copper mountain is located in Summit county CO, about 2 hours west of Denver. When trying to land, there was a whiteout blizzard at the Denver airport, which caused Erin and I to have to divert to ABQ NM, and my mom to be bussed in from CO springs. Nevertheless, we rolled into Silverthorne a day later than planned, and got settled in. Silverthorn is at about 8k feet elevation, but the place we were staying at was at 9.5k feet, so we all immediately felt it. Unfortunately, sleeping at 9.5k feet took its toll on us flatlanders.
