The next morning we departed on our boat tour… again… and successfully made it out of the harbor. We did a tour that took us into one of the Fjords which is: “a long, narrow, deep inlet of the sea between high cliffs”. The views were breathtaking and we visited a variety of environments on the water including passing by some islands, looking at lush green coast, and seeing the coastal portion of the Aialik Glacier. We even got to touch a part of the glacier ice that they fished out of the water! It was incredibly clear and was at least 400 years old.
